The County Government of Siaya has officially completed its Performance Contract (PC) signing for the 2024/2025 financial year—while simultaneously kicking off the 2025/2026 contracting cycle in a high-level ceremony led by Governor James Orengo.
Held today in Siaya, the event marked a major governance milestone as the county tightens its grip on accountability, accelerates performance tracking, and pushes toward results-driven public service delivery.
The ceremony served a dual purpose.
Earlier in the year, several key institutions—including SIBOWASCO, Bondo Municipality, Ugunja Municipality, and the Department of Water—missed their scheduled signing due to competing official duties.
Today’s event closed that chapter by completing the FY 2024/2025 Performance Contract cycle, paving the way for Siaya’s next strategic phase: the rollout of the 2025/2026 Performance Contracts.
Governor Orengo reaffirmed that performance contracts remain central to Siaya’s transformation agenda.
“Performance contracting gives us measurable results, clear expectations, and the accountability our citizens deserve. It is how we ensure every officer contributes to the strategic direction we envision for Siaya,” he said.
