In a decisive push for national healing and institutional renewal, President William Ruto today hosted the Committee on the Implementation of the Ten-Point Agenda and the National Dialogue Committee Report (COIN-10) at State House, Nairobi, receiving a comprehensive progress briefing alongside Deputy President Kithure Kindiki.
The high-level engagement signals renewed commitment to translating bipartisan consensus into actionable change, amid ongoing efforts to address Kenya’s pressing governance and economic challenges.
President Ruto reaffirmed the government’s full support for COIN-10, declaring: “We are supporting the Committee… to fully deliver on its mandate.”
Highlighting the broader vision, the Presidency stated that the initiative “is designed to unite Kenyans through inclusive national dialogue and restore trust in public institutions by fostering transparency and accountability.”
The reforms, rooted in the 2023-2024 National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) recommendations and the subsequent UDA-ODM 10-point agenda, promise to “translate consensus into practical reforms that strengthen democracy, improve daily life, and create opportunities for all.”
Official photos from the meeting capture President Ruto in animated discussions, handshakes with committee members, and a focused session around the conference table—where a screen displayed the committee’s second progress report.
The COIN-10, a bipartisan oversight body formed under the broad-based government framework, has been conducting stakeholder consultations and pushing legislative aspects through Parliament. Today’s briefing underscores progress despite earlier criticisms of delays, positioning 2026 as a pivotal year for embedding these changes.
As Kenya navigates political realignments ahead of 2027, this State House session reinforces President Ruto’s drive for inclusive governance, accountability, and tangible improvements in Kenyans’ lives.
