Step-by-Step Guide to Applying
The application process is fully online through the KUCCPS student portal and is straightforward for eligible candidates.
1. Visit students.kuccps.ac.ke and log in using your KCSE index number (as username) and either your birth certificate number or KCPE index number (as password).
2. Navigate to the “KMTC Programmes” section to view available courses and confirm you meet the minimum subject and grade requirements. The portal automatically filters out programmes for which you do not qualify.
3. Choose up to four programmes in order of preference and note their unique programme codes.
4. Proceed to the “KMTC Application” tab, click “Apply Now,” and enter the programme codes starting with your top choice.
5. Submit the application and pay the non-refundable processing fee of KSh 1,500 via the payment options provided on the portal.
Applicants are strongly advised to complete the process well before the January 27 deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues or payment delays.
With Kenya continuing to strengthen its healthcare system, a qualification from KMTC remains one of the most reliable routes to stable and impactful employment in the medical field. Aspiring nurses, technicians, therapists, and public health officers now have a limited but golden opportunity to take the next step toward their careers.
