Bondo residents have hailed Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo as a Changemaker for spearheading a number of development projects in the sub-County in the last two-and-half years.
Speaking to the Public Communication team from the County Government of Siaya the residents said most of the projects initiated under the governor had a long-term impact on their lives and would help transform incomes and well-being in the region for a long time to come.

The communication team which was on a county projects development feedback tour was appraised by happy traders operating at the bus park with ongoing projects in the background.
They also interacted with contented traders in the Bondo open-air market, enthusiastic bodaboda operators at the Sinapanga-Obama road and other areas of the flourishing Bondo metropolis.

The residents were grateful to the Governor and the County Government for opening up extensive and modern road networks which they said had improved access to and from the market and other important utilities such as schools and hospitals in the area.
Grace Okoyo, a fishmonger at the Bondo market expressed gratitude for the setting up of the high-mast lighting saying it increased security and working hours for traders.
“The governor has taken the right step to ensure our security and we will not forget when the time comes to return the good deed at the ballot box. I can tell you without fear of contradiction that Orengo kumi bila break.”
Another resident who spoke on condition of anonymity thanked the Bondo Municipality Manager, Phillip Mbidyo whom he said had diligently and competently worked with locals to undertake and over-sight County projects in the region.
