St. Paul’s Ndenga Secondary School from Ugenya, Siaya County, struck the right chord at this year’s National Music Festival, clinching the top spot with a dazzling performance of an Indian song that wowed judges and the audience at Meru School.
The Nyanza region representatives delivered a flawless rendition marked by crisp vocals, intricate rhythms, and graceful choreography, proving that music knows no borders. Their cross-cultural mastery set them apart in a festival that drew thousands of students from across Kenya to showcase choral, traditional, and contemporary pieces.
