President William Ruto on Thursday convened a high-level thought leadership forum at State House, Nairobi, aimed at sharpening Kenya’s economic trajectory by aligning the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) with Vision 2030 and accelerating delivery over the next five years.
The meeting brought together some of the country’s most respected policy minds, led by Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang’ Nyong’o, alongside Prof Karuti Kanyinga, Prof Oduor Wanyande, Prof Michael Chege, economist Denis Onyango, and governance expert George Omondi. The team engaged the President and members of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors in a wide-ranging discussion on Kenya’s long-term development path.
