Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has concluded that veteran politician Cyrus Jirongo died in a straightforward road traffic accident, with no evidence of foul play.
The former Cabinet minister perished on the night of December 13, 2025, along the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway near Karai after his Mercedes Benz vehicle being struck by a bus.
