ADVERTISEMENT Police in Siaya County have seized a massive 990 litres of suspected chang’aa in a dramatic roadside operation that has dealt a major blow to the illicit alcohol trade in the region.
Officers from Kogelo Police Station made the recovery on Tuesday in Uuna area along the Ng’iya–Ndori Road, within South East Alego Location, following a road traffic accident involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle. The incident took a suspicious turn when the driver of the vehicle abandoned the scene and fled, raising alarm among first responders.
