Premier League Champions Liverpool have made a staggering £105 million offer for Bayer Leverkusen player Florian Wirtz.
The German club have, however, valued the player at €150m, which equals to slightly over £126m.
Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also rooting to sign up the 22-year-old, among the most impressive players in the Bundesliga last season.
Until last week reports indicated that Wirtz would have preferred to continue playing in Germany, however, insider sources say the player now favours a move to Liverpool.

Wirtz, who has spent his entire senior career at Leverkusen, scored 10 goals, registered 12 assists in 25 matches he started, enabling his side to finish runners-up to Bayern Munich, a year after winning the league and cup double.
The offer is in preparedness for the soon to commence short transfer window between June 1 and June 10. Premier League clubs are scouting for talent locally and abroad in the hope of closing deals ahead of the Club World Cup.
At Old Trafford Manchester United has a great deal of changes to carry out following a disastrous season full of disappointments to its huge global fun-base. Wolves forward, Brazilian, Matheus Cunha is a sure deal to Old Trafford in a transfer that will land Wolves £60 million.
There’s also talk of possible moves from Manchester United with captain Bruno Fernandes one of the players linked with such a move.
If the deal for Florian Wirtz should go through, it would be one of the most expensive transfers in the English Premier League.
The British record transfer fee currently stands at £115m, paid by Chelsea to Brighton for Moises Caicedo in 2023.
