Siaya Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo has yet again kept his promise to the residents of Bondo town when his administration set up a high-mast lighting pole at the bus park.
The Siaya County Government project in Bondo Municipality is part of the ongoing beautification of Bondo Square and installation of a high mast lighting at the bus park, as promised by the Governor a fortnight ago.
Excited residents are very optimistic and welcome the project as a milestone, noting that the introduction has been very instrumental in enhancing long time operations for their businesses while at the same time making the town look smart and attractive.
“This initiative has improved business opportunities and increased the overall time for sales as well as boosting security for small-scale traders and jua-kali artisans,” said Daudi ja-gaset, a popular newspaper vendor at the central business district.
Most of the traders have hailed the development by Governor James Orengo administration and has also called for additional improved working conditions to be extended to other areas of Bondo sub-County.
While speaking to the CGS Public Communication team profiling County Government ongoing projects and completed ones, they alluded to increased business opportunities and long working hours as direct benefits of some of these projects and also called on the County Government to enact more.
