President William Samoei Ruto on Tuesday hosted senior United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party officials at State House, Nairobi, in a high-level meeting that underscored the fast-evolving political rapprochement between UDA and the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).
The meeting comes barely a day after ODM resolved to constitute a negotiating team to spearhead structured talks with UDA, a move widely seen as a decisive step toward formalising cooperation between President Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga ahead of the 2027 General Election.
