The Baraza served as an inclusive platform to discuss matters of development, service delivery, and active citizen participation in county governance.
Meanwhile, at a separate event held within Siaya Township Ward, MCA James Obiero Otare advised those who have hopes of succeeding Siaya Governor James Aggrey Bob Orengo in 2027 to set aside such disillusionment and concentrate on more tangible goals, as such a task was near impossible.
Mr. Otare who was presiding at a funds drive in aid of a church in his Ward together with CECM Trade Grace Agola said Orengo’s track record in his first term was distinctively outstanding and good reason why he automatically deserves a second term.

Both leaders lauded the Nyalore administration for projects completed and those in the pipeline saying it would be an act of common sense to let the Governor complete the impressive work he has begun in transforming lives of Siaya residents.
