Kenya Pipeline Company PLC (KPC PLC), East Africa’s leading energy infrastructure company, has partnered with the Bloggers Association of Kenya (BAKE) as the official sponsor of the Environment Category at the 10th Annual BAKE Awards.
The partnership aligns with this year’s BAKE Awards theme, “The Creator Economy: Turning Content into Capital,” and seeks to recognise and celebrate digital creators who are using their platforms to champion environmental conservation, climate action, sustainability, and responsible natural resource management.
As a company committed to environmentally responsible operations and sustainable development, KPC PLC believes digital creators play a critical role in shaping public awareness and inspiring positive action on environmental issues.

Over the past vies years, Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) has worked with the local community to plant 1,210,020 mangrove trees on 100 hectares at Jomvu Creek. The site was adopted for restoration of mangrove forest in liaison with Bidii Creek Conservation Group among other community forest users’ associations.
The BAKE Awards have become a key platform for recognizing excellence and innovation in Kenya’s digital content ecosystem. By sponsoring the Environment Category, KPC PLC aims to encourage the creation of impactful environmental content while supporting the growth of Kenya’s creator economy.
Voting for the 2026 BAKE Awards remains open until 18 June 2026, while the winners will be announced during the 10th Annual BAKE Awards Gala on 27 June 2026.
