The community of Jera Mixed Secondary School in Ugenya Subcounty has been plunged into mourning following the tragic death of one of its teachers, Mr. Erick Oduor.
According to preliminary reports, Mr. Oduor’s death occurred on Saturday morning after what sources described as a domestic dispute with his spouse. Witnesses say he parked his motorcycle by the roadside before suddenly walking onto the road, where he was hit by an oncoming lorry. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
The incident has left colleagues, students, and residents reeling in shock. Many described Mr. Oduor as a passionate teacher who devoted his time to mentoring learners both inside and outside the classroom.
