The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party is navigating a new chapter. Following the recent passing of its iconic leader, Raila Amollo Odinga, the party’s Central Committee convened for its first meeting, signaling a commitment to continuity and a strategic approach for the future. The gathering, led by Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, focused on maintaining unity, honoring Odinga’s legacy, and laying the groundwork for the party’s upcoming activities.
The meeting underscored ODM’s commitment to stability. Additionally, the party confirmed that its 20th-anniversary celebrations will proceed as planned, providing an opportunity to further solidify party unity and solidarity.
The ODM Party is clearly entering a new phase. While honoring Odinga’s memory, the party is simultaneously taking steps to strengthen its foundation and clarify its priorities.
