Police Probe After Human Body Part Found Along Nairobi–Mombasa Highway

Police in Makueni County have launched investigations after a human male genital organ was discovered at Kiongwani area along the Nairobi–Mombasa Highway.

According to a police report, officers on routine patrol were alerted by members of the public who had spotted a suspected human body part near the roadside.

Officers from Sultan Hamud Police Station, accompanied by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Mukaa, visited the scene and confirmed the object to be a human penis believed to belong to an unidentified male.

Preliminary investigations indicate the body part may have been severed at a different location before being dumped at the site.

The scene was processed by investigators, and the organ was moved to Sultan Hamud Sub-County Hospital mortuary for preservation pending identification and further examination.

Police said no report of a missing person or mutilation incident has so far been recorded in the area.

Detectives from DCI Mukaa are continuing with investigations to establish the identity of the victim and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Members of the public have been urged to report any information that may assist in the investigations to the nearest police station.
