Vote for the People’s Engineer: Hon. Eng. Fredrick ZB Owino – The Leader Ugunja Deserves

As party nominations draw near, Ugunja stands on the cusp of a defining moment—one that will shape our future for decades to come. At this crossroads, Hon. Eng. Fredrick ZB Owino shines as the most qualified, visionary, and compassionate leader to carry our banner. His candidacy is more than a bid for office; it’s a mission to deliver real progress, unity, and opportunity for every resident of Ugunja.

Born and raised in the heart of Ugunja, Eng. Owino is not an outsider with distant promises—he is a son of our soil who understands our struggles firsthand. His formative years in our local schools and neighborhoods shaped his deep connection to the community and his unwavering commitment to service.

Academically, Eng. Owino is a graduate of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Nairobi, earning distinction for his excellence. He is also a certified Project Management Professional—proof of his ability to plan, execute, and deliver measurable results. This rare blend of technical expertise and people-centered vision is exactly what Ugunja needs at this moment.

His agenda is bold, clear, and practical:

Education: New classrooms, renovated schools, scholarships for the less privileged, and integration of digital literacy to prepare our youth for a knowledge-based economy.

Healthcare: Expanded facilities, improved maternal and child health services, and affordable healthcare access for all.

Agriculture: Modern farming techniques, subsidized inputs, irrigation schemes, and value-addition for local produce.

Infrastructure: Better road networks, expanded electricity access, and clean water projects from boreholes to rainwater harvesting systems.

Economic Empowerment: Support for SMEs, youth and women-led enterprises, and job creation to fight poverty.

Social Inclusion: Gender equality, youth empowerment, and support for vulnerable groups.

Environmental Stewardship: Tree planting, sustainable land use, and climate change mitigation.

Transparent Governance: Participatory decision-making, anti-corruption measures, and efficient use of public funds.

Hon. Eng. Owino believes leadership is service—not privilege. As leadership expert John Maxwell says, “A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.” Owino has lived Ugunja’s way, and he is ready to lead us toward a prosperous future.

As nomination day approaches, we face a choice: elect a leader with proven competence, commitment, and vision—or settle for the status quo. Let us unite behind the People’s Engineer and give him the ODM ticket to carry us to victory.

With Hon. Eng. Fredrick ZB Owino at the helm, we will build a Ugunja founded on unity, prosperity, and hope—a Ugunja future generations will proudly call home.

The time for change is now. The choice is clear. Vote Hon. Eng. Fredrick ZB Owino—the leader Ugunja truly deserves.
