Kenya’s journey toward a circular economy has gained fresh momentum after HACO Industries signed a strategic partnership with Mr. Green Africa aimed at strengthening post-consumer recyclate (PCR) collection and advancing sustainable manufacturing.
The collaboration will see the two firms roll out a structured take-back scheme aligned with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) principles — a move expected to significantly improve plastic waste recovery across the country’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
