The Gem parliamentary contest for 2027 has sharpened into a high-stakes showdown among six clear frontrunners: Kisumu City Manager Michael Abala Wanga, incumbent Elisha Ochieng Odhiambo Akuba, Siaya Woman Representative Dr. Christine Oduor Ombaka, Sam Opot, Booker Ngesa Omole, and Eng. Adrian Ouma.
