Jemma Nunu Kumba, Speaker of the Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA), is in Nairobi, Kenya, for a planned routine medical check-up – and her office has firmly debunked viral claims that she collapsed in her office and was rushed abroad in an emergency.
In a strongly worded press release issued on February 25, 2026, the Speaker’s Office described the circulating social media reports as “false and misleading,” stressing that the Nairobi trip was scheduled well in advance as part of her regular health management.
